Everybody can talk, all of us can speak but do we really know how to communicate? Effectively? We have a competitive world, we won't survive a day without using our mouth to talk to someone and we surely wouldn't get by without exchanging messages with people around us. This book made a great job on telling its readers how to become successful when communicating. It is kind of long but detailed. I became interested on how to improve my communication skills after buying this book. I want to impress my boss, my officemates and other people just by the way on how I talk to them. It's like involving persuasion when you speak. Thanks to this book I gained more confidence when it comes to speaking.

Simple, informative, and practical. If you are looking for a book that will help you communicate with others in various areas of your life then this is the right book for you! The language in the book is easy to read and jumps right into the material to get you started to improving your communication skills. The material written in this book is not a "do these simple tricks and your life will alter forever" but rather gives you the foundation and techniques as well as insights of how communication works to help better your skills. Overall I was very satisfied with all the content given in this book as it exposed me to ideas and concepts that I would have never came up with myself.

Before I read this book I read all the reviews thinking this must be a good book. While the book has good information, the info can easily be found in a number of different blogs. The reason I rated this book so low is because of the constant grammar mistakes and typos. I buy a book to avoid reading the constant errors commonly found in blogs. This book is self published, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but the writer obviously did not bother to pay someone to edit his work before publishing it. If I pay money for a book, I expect it to be polished; there was an error on literally every other page. Based off the fact that of the 22 current reviews, not a single person mentioned the mistakes I have to suspect that the other reviews were fake.

Is it really over for Justin and Kayla ???

I've Loveland all these books but I was really worried that this would be it for Justin and Kayla. It all looked so bad and somebody really had it out for them! I have my suspicions! Poor Justin has feelings of inferiority in regards to Kayla and scant believe she would really love him. Then when he got the text on her phone supposedly from her best friend implying that Kay got pregnant just to trap him, he feels so betrayed. He rushes away, and basically leaves town. Kayla is left alone to host Justin's birthday party and face all the gossip. She saves him again in Rno boot leaves him and goes back to her apartment alone. It's all up to Justin now. What will he do? Divorce her? End the arrangement? Give up?

What did I like? I really enjoy this, it was a quick read and each of the books thereafter was the same. I was lucky and was able to read them all one after the other and not have to wait till the next one came out. They were romantic stories full of humor, laughs, secrets, mysteries, and poignancy. The characters were fantastic and quirky with that romantic twist. Each story being a stepping stone to the final book and really should be read as I did (one after the other).

What will you like? As I said quick reads with the modern twist on the old fashion romances. Updated to the lifestyles of today and yet with that old fashion thing in it called LOVE! Even though these are novellas they are well developed and you can see the work of the author’s research. I think you will fall in love with each of the characters and will be caught up in the storyline. You will enjoy each book with all the twists and unexpected turns. The rich part of the books is how all the characters interact through the series with the big finale in the last book. When Justin is hospitalized, Kayla returns to Seattle leaving the fate of their marriage in Justin’s hands. Will Justin find understanding and return to Kayla, their child and their new found love? Or will he decide he has had enough and continue with the divorce? As I read I just couldn’t wait to get to the next book, but wait is there another one? I am looking forward to maybe seeing this couple brought up in other books so we can see how they are. Hint, Hint!

Great Ending to Fun Series!

I was so excited to read the final installment of the Switched at Marriage series. I have really enjoyed all of the books in this series, and couldn't wait to find out how everything would work out between Justin and Kayla. The previous book left us with a cliffhanger, and I was eager to find out how Justin would deal with what appeared to be Kayla's infidelity with his good friend Lazer. My heart broke for him, because he really believed she was cheating.

I was also very interested in finding out how they were going to deal with Kayla's imposter, and I'm glad that there was closure on that whole situation.

I feel like the series was very well written, and held my attention. I connected with the characters, too. The books are quick, witty, romantic, and a lot of fun!

Enrique Olvera graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1999. In 2000, at the age of 24, he opened Pujol in Mexico City. Bought it for the pictures, got a nice surprise all around

Bought this book because the photography was done by Araceli Paz and she doesn't disappoint. But the recipe were a nice surprise.
The layout of the book is very nice, well organised and even if I don't plan on making a full recipe, I most certainly will do some of the sauces and star using some ingredients than before I only pass by.
Kudos again to the photography, we had seen a lot of tacos and tortillas pictures by now and Enrique and Araceli show a different side, modern, but rooted in tradition.

Best cookbook of the fall season.

Extremely happy with the purchase of this book. There is a elegant simplicity in the manner which Olvera introduces the flavors to the readers. To people who aren't real cooks it may seem daunting at first, but if one takes a closer look, the techniques and ingredients are on par with a traditional Mexican cooking. Yes there are different nuances as to be expected, but the tradition is all there. I would definitely suggest this book if one wants a better understanding of culture first, and food secondly. Great job on the book and the publisher Phaidon allowing the Chef to use his voice!

Good text, bad Kindle implementation

The text is a reasonably good text, on that alone I'd give it 4 or 5 stars. However, the on-line version is extremely difficult to maneuver, but that's on Amazon not on the authors of the textbook. Glad I'm only renting a copy, definitely won't be buying the on-line version. It is only available on Kindle apps, not Kindle devices and Amazon has made it the worst of both worlds. Purchased books perform much better on a Kindle app than does the text. This is my first on-line text so I'm not sure the app is different, but Amazon has a lot of work to do to remove the aggravation of moving around the text or even to make scrolling work. Obviously the developers don't actually use the app.

Very dry

This is a required text for my class. The book is pretty expensive, especially for the quality. I am not too thrilled with this book, as it is very dry and tough to stay focused on.

Does the job

Text was adequate with explaining the many, many specific terms in psychology, and I got an A in my intro class. However, I found the internet to be at times, a much better learning aid as I feel this book falls short at giving you versatile examples of many concepts.
