Good value: About as good an starting overview as can be expected in the space given

Good start for overview, not deep, not detailed in discussion, but you are pretty well off if you take this as a starting point, and do plenty of research and thinking about what the author has stated. For example the author correctly states that any defense can be overcome by attackers well motivated and with lots of time. That's true, but the author doesn't give details to support that. You'll have to think it through yourself, but you're likely to keep reading and get into the rest of the topics of the book....One book, "Doomsday Marauders" goes into the attackers/bad guys perspective which is very under represented in this market. We all want to build a castle....
Have a fallback position, prepare to be mobile, and ideally have a support network of neighbors you can communicate with and who will come to your aid if you get trapped.

I review self help and other books as a side job for other websites. This author makes reading easy and enjoyable. He's relatable as if he's in your head, sometimes he says things you know you've thought but wouldn't say out loud. Me and especially my husband are not Prepper's but my husband found himself drawn to this book and began to talk about applying the advice in this book possibly in the near future..That says a lot for the logic that this book must hold, where is my husband has little tolerance for anything but logical....
